We helped Hannah and JD tie their wedding decor together with worldly textiles and hand dyed flags. We sourced different patterns of Hmongs from Thailand to use as table runners on their place settings.
To have us source textiles for your own wedding and event please contact Megan at email@example.com
Thanks to all who came out to the launch of the new BDG denim at Space Ninety8! We had our antique chainstitch embroidery machine with us to personalize the customer's denim and we love everything we got to do!
A few months ago we made 600 bandanas for the Create & Cultivate ATL conference in a matter of DAYS! it was one of the most challenging requests do to the volume - our first question to answer to ourselves was "where and how do we dry them all?" we usually hand wash all of our bandanas and line dry them one by one. Thankfully there was a temporary open space in our studio where we created a crazy looking drying room and were able to dye, wash and dry all those bandanas in a few days!
After everyone got their Good Luck bandanas in their gift bags, we got to talk to Create & Cultivate about our brand, values and our love for Squarespace as our platform!
You can read the interview here! and check out the other awesome hardworking ladies that they talked to!!
HO-LY MO-LY. This year has been huge for us, and one of the coolest steps we've taken so far was an awesome collaboration with Nordstrom and Olivia Kim, on their October-November Pop-In shop FADED. You can find our Dye Kits, Bandanas, Denim Repair Kits, rope bowls and note cards at 6 locations in the US and 2 in Canada! We are one of many cool brands that were chosen to be apart of this installation and cannot handle how cool this whole experience has been!
We have been so lucky to work with the newest Soho House - Ludlow House, teaching classes on natural dyes including Indigo immersion dying with shibori techniques back in August. This time we tought extraction techniques through flower bundle dying, while cozying up in the mood lit lounge.
Uniqlo's London location at 311 Oxford st. welcomed us to be apart of their Denim Factory pop up in the Lifewear section of their store! We had our denim repair kits, bandanas, patches and bowls available at the shop! We are happy to announce that everything sold out during the month of the pop up, thanks London!!
On August 18th, we got the chance to host an indigo night at Space Ninety8 - one of the Urban Outfitters Spaces with such a great crew of eager students! Hosting the Indigo/Shibori workshops are always so much fun, and we get to meet some amazing customers who truly want to understand the ancient techniques and create some beautiful pieces for their homes and wardrobes. We were extremely lucky to take a trip out to the Mojave Desert to be surrounded by likeminded makers, business owners, friends and beautiful land at Desert & Denim 2016. This renegade tradeshow is changing the way buyers and makers interact, and we are fully on board.
Opening up our business to the welcoming west coast was an amazing experience - especially hosting an indigo free - for - all workshop at the tradeshow. Blue hands were a plenty as well as all of the participants walking away with freshly dyed tote bags and shirts from Jungmaven.
We photographed some of our new products in Joshua Tree National Park and are so excited to release some new home goods inspired by the desert and all it has to offer.
